Antique Drapery Rod Co., Inc. produces, historically, classical window hardware, accessories and decadent draperies for the trade, traditional retail and, more recently, clients on the Internet. We are committed to a clean environment and to the conservation of the limited natural resources on our planet. We are able to do this through source reduction and recycling.

The Antique Drapery Rod Co., manufactures over 600 types of drapery hardware in recycled wrought iron, reforested carved wood, recyclable cast stone, tortoise shell bamboo, which is the fastest growing renewable resource on the planet, and a new recycled, highly polished aluminum making up our newest Bauhaus Modern collection.

Our ready-made draperies in silk Dupioni, linen, and 100% organic cotton velvet are all dyed using approved eco-safe dyes. Antique Drapery Rod Co. also produces four-poster canopies and European inspired bed coronas. With 150 artisans and a 45,000 square-foot manufacturing facility behind the showroom, Antique Drapery Rod Co. provides the finest draperies, window hardware and more.

Founded in 1992, our 150 employees in our U.S. manufacturing facility have helped build the Antique Drapery Rod Co. eco-ethical policies. We have a corporate commitment to alternative labor sources. We also have an ethical responsibility to our community including support for homeless and battered women’s programs.

Founder and CEO, Whitney Anne Walker has been an interior and product designer for more than 20 years. Her projects have ranged from corporate, restaurant and hospital projects to private homes, schools and doctor's offices.
